Proxy Avoidance - a web proxy that actually works

This is a neat little web proxy that actually works. It is called Proxy Avoidance and can be found at proxyavoidance.info. It includes many cool easy to use proxy features such as the search feature built into proxy avoidance, so you can always quickly and easily find what you need even if it is blocked at your school or workplace.

How does proxy avoidance work?

Well by using proxy avoidance you can bypass and get around website filters. These are those (annoying) things that network admins at schools, colleges, universities, work places, libraries, and other community or employment based organisations like to stop you from viewing. They ban these websites in a number of ways. Some times their own proxy is used to filter all content - but you can use this proxy avoidance site to get around that. It requires no technical knowledge so even an idiot could use this 100% free tool to gain access and view sites that are normally not allowed to be seen.

How do I set up a web proxy to use this Proxy Avoidance site?

It really could not be much easier — all you need to do is go to the proxyavoidance.info site and type in the URL you want to view. It will then show you that site.

What is a URL and what does it have to do with proxy avoidance

A URL is the web site address, for example “http://www.myspace.com/, “http://www.bebo.com/”, “http://www.facebook.com/” or “http://bebo.co.uk”. There are thousands of websites, each with their own URL. To use it with the proxy avoidance website just enter the URL where directed.

iProxy.eu - a working website proxy to get onto sites that are blocked

Got a few proxies to be added today. Enjoy!

The first one for today is iProxy.eu. It is your regular run of the mill PHProxy, using a classic theme. But it certainly does work fast and easily. I used it to get on banned websites on my network and it worked fine. It can  also be used to get onto censored sites or restricted sites. Here is the description from the site:
