Need another working web proxy? Try dissimul.us. It has a great and easy to use layout - unlike 90% of free web proxies it isn’t so full of ads you can’t work out where to type your url, and seems quite fast.
Its main interface is something quite new and unique that I haven’t personally seen before. It has a list of popular sites, and rather than just taking you straight there (”proxified” of course), it puts the url in the url box. Quite handy.
Unfortunately it won’t play Youtube (and other video site’s) videos.
It is also nice to see a proxy with a privacy policy
Try it out: dissimul.us

You can use proxies to access and view sites that are otherwise blocked (often by schools, colleges, or workplaces) but a lot of proxies only work with “normal” sites. As soon as you start to want to watch videos on youtube (which is one of the most popular sites, so chances are a lot of you are having problems viewing youtube videos on web proxy sites) it just won’t work. That is because unlike most other pages it isn’t just “html” - it uses the flash player so you can watch the videos.
We have compiled a list of proxies that we have found that work fine with Youtube and are still working. One of the biggest problems with proxy lists is that school admins, network administrators, school IT teams etc can access these lists and ban those sites. One of the best way to get proxies that work because they are not publicly known is subscribe, for free, to proxy list newsletters. They email you every so often direct to your email a list of working web proxies (most are new, almost all are not publicly posted anywhere else). We recommend the one at workingwebproxy.info. (You can see details at the top of each page on this site, too). As schools and colleges (etc) very rarely ban email accounts you can always check your email and get your latest list of working proxies and access those sites you need to visit.
So anyway, a couple of proxies that work with video sites like Youtube.
First one is webproxybox. This works with youtube and although it doesn’t use the proper youtube video player (it uses a custom one in its place) it works perfectly - in fact some times it works better than the normal youtube.com video player. You can use webproxybox to view youtube channels, videos, movies and clips even if youtube.com is blocked, banned or has restricted access.
Another very similar site is http://hisbox.info/ - although it looks different it works in a very similar way. You can also use these web proxies to get onto other banned sites.

Just came across this site, Demonoid Proxy. Not sure if it will be much use for demonoid anymore - as demonoid no longer exists. But the proxy works like other proxies and works on other sites too.
Here is some information about demonoid (from wikipedia):
Demonoid was a BitTorrent tracker set up by an anonymous Serbian known only as Deimos. The website indexed torrents uploaded by its members. These torrents could then be searched and the content shared using the peer to peer BitTorrent protocol.
According to the site itself, Demonoid is currently offline due to action from the CRIA, with a placeholder page stating: “The CRIA threatened the company renting the servers to us, and because of this it is not possible to keep the site online. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding”.
Demonoid is one of the largest BitTorrent trackers. Demonoid torrents are indexed by almost all BitTorrent search engines like IsoHunt and BTJunkie.
As it is for bit torrents, there is a high chance that your school or work place has banned access to demonoid.com. Use of this proxy, if it comes back online, can be used to view demonoid pages and files. You can probably also try the demonoiders forum (http://www.demonoiders.com/forum/) or check out the irc channel. All can be viewed via proxies.
Check it out.

Here is another great free web proxy for you to use - stealth free proxy. Like most other free web proxies it is there to get on you banned sites, such as when they ban http://www.myspace.com from your school or work place.
Stealth free proxy is a great way to visit those banned sites and (like all the other proxies we post on this blog) works fine and fast!
Enjoy it!

Very often schools, universities, colleges and work places ban all sites containing “proxy” so it can be handy to know a list of words that have similar meanings and are often used in a lot of free proxy sites (so you can find more that work!)
Please leave comments if you have any other ideas!
Of course this list is far from a complete list of proxy related words but they will give you a start.
Surf escaping, hide and cloak my identity, unblocker, proxie, pr0xy, bypass, bypasser, concealer, hidden web browser,

SAS Proxy, at sasproxy.com is a free web proxy that you can use to unblock popular social networking sites such as Myspace, bebo, Facebook, Youtube, Orkit, Friendster and more.
This free web proxy has handy links at the top of each page to go to the proxified versions of myspace, youtube, bebo, facebook and friendster, and you can of course also type in the url of any other site. The main page is full of quite a lot of ads - but that is to be expected from a free proxy site offering this service. One thing i did notice is they have some dummy lorem ipsum text that must have come with the proxy template! But who cares!?! All you need to know about is if it works - and sas proxy certainly does.

Lots of schools, colleges, universities and even work places like to ban and block sites like Myspace. They see myspace as a waste of time, and so block all access to myspace. However sometimes it can be very handy to access myspace - and often one of the easiest ways to get to view myspace is to use a proxy, sometimes known as a myspace proxy unblocker
This website helps you to find the best myspace proxy unblockers. However, some schools and universities like to block this site (as we are helping you get around myspace blocks!) so the best way to ensure you always have an upto date list of working web proxies and myspace proxy unblockers is to sign up to this no spam newsletter (it will email you with proxy lists so you can just check your email and have a list of working web proxies to use! Schools etc very rarely will block access to email so you will always be able to view it! And we never spam or sell your email address). You can unsubscribe at any time, too
